Haversham-cum-Little Linford Parish

The Parish Council strongly supports the operation of the allotments and closely oversees their running. The Allotment tenants have created a community enjoying something which brings them so much joy.
As well as individual plots for rent from the Parish Council, in September 2025, members of the Allotment Community, supported by the Parish Council, started a Community Allotment Plot that will include both small individual ‘beds’ (one per household), as well as an area that can be maintained by the community as a whole (for those who don’t want to have a specific area). The community plot will also provide a space for informal community activities.
There is much work to be done to establish this facility prior to the growing season of 2026, so should you wish to get involved with the community plot, please let us know and we will pass on your contact details to the team.
Allotment tenants are part of a private Allotment Facebook page and this is an opportunity for tenants to share ideas and advice. In July 2025 the allotment tenants ran their first, very successful, open day and it is hoped to repeat this in 2026.
Currently we have no vacant plots, but we have established a waiting list, with priority for residents and new tenants - please contact allotments@havershamlittlelinfordpc.gov.uk for more information.

Tenants are asked to sign a copy of the Allotment Terms and Conditions on an annual basis. This is the current version in operation for 2025/6.

With express prior permission from the Parish Council tenants are permitted to keep chickens and rabbits on their plots and in so doing expects that these animals enjoy a high standard of welfare. The Parish Council do not permit bees on the allotments. We have introduced policies relating to the care of rabbits and chickens.
