We wanted to share the latest information that has been made available by MKCC in regard to the potential growth options being considered as part of the New City Plan (NCP).  The NCP is looking to increase the number of dwellings across MK by 63,000 by 2050.  MK North (the area around our Parish and those of our neighbours) remains an area under consideration.

The NCP is a “work in progress” and the formal draft plan is expected to be issued for the first round of public consultation in the summer.

The Parish Council continues to keep a close eye on the emerging picture and make appropriate representations to try and maintain the objective outlined in our Neighbourhood Plan for the Parish to remains predominantly rural.
